Why Lord?
I know that God is real.
I know that I can trust the Bible.
I know that Jesus died on the cross for me.
I know that God's grace wipes me clean of all sin when I truly repent - because of the cross.
I know that when I truly surrender all to Jesus, I am filled with the Holy Spirit.
I know that God's grace empowers me to live like Jesus.
I know that life consists of a daily bundle of choices.
With all this knowledge - why do I choose to sin?
With all this knowledge - why do I deactivate God's grace or eternal gift in my life?
"Lord help me to live a life that glorifies You! Help me to truly surrender everything to You. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, please help me to live, walk, talk, act, and think like Jesus did when He was here on earth. Thank you Lord for hearing and answering my prayer!"
